After the credits

Sure, we all cheered when the Death Star blew up. Luke was a hero, Leia and Han lived happily ever after. But at what cost? What about the brave men and women (?) who were just doing their jobs, just following orders? What became of them after the holy trinity rode off into the sunset?

Can we all please take a moment to consider the plight of the stormtrooper…

I hope G.I. Joe is this good…

Why can’t movies light CGI this well?

Umm… what?

I have no idea what this image from the front (and only) page of Stark Industries.net is about, but damn if it didn’t make me smile! If this is insight into Iron Man 2: Electric Boogaloo, I’m 100% behind it!

The rodentia are selling us out!

If it’s not dinobots, it’s the Empire! They’ll do anything for a sack of nuts! Never trust a city dwelling rodent! Luckily, we can still trust Ewoks to have our backs!

I’m not the only one who is back!

I’ve obtained my own copy of the “I’m on a Ship” gif and have uploaded it here for your viewing pleasure! Definitely worth the laugh!

I’m back!

I forgot to do an away post before I left, but I’m back now! I took an amazing whirlwind trip to Southern California, involving such geeky adventures as losing my mind (and spending waaay too much money) at a great toy store called Anime King and happening into a World of Warcraft exhibit at the Laguna Art Museum! Total blast! I will probably make you all suffer through some pics of my adventures when I get them uploaded. Until then, I have a lot of catch up to do here at work, and then I’ll get back to more important things, like posting here!

Not so exclusive exclusives?

Four Horsemen Studios is producing this gorgeous figure, Akkuli, for their 7th Kingdom line exclusively for the San Diego Comic Con. Or are they?

Because I just ordered it from Action Figure Xpress to be delivered to me after SDCC. I have mixed feelings about this. Sure, I’ve either missed out on or had to pay extra for many items that previously were truly SDCC exclusives, but this seems to create a chance that items could sellout BEFORE SDCC. That seems even more messed up.

I will continue to ponder the point as i wait for this beauty to be shipped to me…

If you aren’t already salivating, anticipating the release of Scribblenauts, I think this will whet your palate! In this E3 demo of Scribblenauts, they demo how wide a variety of nouns are included in the game, available for creation. So if you wanted to play out the scenario “Who would win in a fight between Cthulhu and God?”, you can! I would have loved to see the discussion about how this should play out at the Scribblenauts headquarters!
